Etsy's global marketplace helps you reach 89.6 million active buyers but sharing your shop beyond Etsy can grow your reach even further. It helps you showcase your brand, attract new shoppers, and bring returning customers back.
If you're posting on social media, sending newsletters, or sharing links anywhere off Etsy, Etsy has two programs that can reward you for the sales you drive: Share & Save and Creator Collective.
Both programs help you earn from bringing shoppers to Etsy, but they’re built for different goals. Share & Save is for promoting your own shop. Creator Collective is for creating broader Etsy content and recommending items from any Etsy shop.
Use this guide to compare how each program works, who it's for, and how to get started.
Share & Save
Best for: Sellers who want a simple way to promote their own shop and save on fees on sales they drive.
Share & Save works on many approved channels like blogs, emails, and social media pages. Generate a link in Shop Manager, post it wherever your customers are, and earn 4% back on your Etsy bill on eligible orders that come through within 30 days.
Your Share & Save dashboard in Shop Manager tracks clicks, orders, revenue, and credits earned, so you can see what's working. There's no minimum follower count, no application, and no waiting. If you have an Etsy shop, you can start right away. It's that simple.
We're also investing in social sharing tools in the Etsy Seller App to make it easier to share with your audience. We'll share more as they become available.
New to Share & Save? For the first two weeks after you sign up, you'll earn 6.5% back on your Etsy bill on eligible orders.
Creator Collective
Best for: Sellers who already create content for a social audience and want to earn commission on sales they drive to any Etsy shop.
Creator Collective members earn 10% commission on eligible orders from any Etsy shop, so your earnings aren't limited to your own listings. The program currently supports Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest Idea Pins, Threads, and X. Members get access to creator-specific reporting, an Etsy storefront, and ongoing campaigns and incentives.
Creator Collective is application-based, so membership isn't guaranteed. Etsy evaluates applications based on factors like channel quality, content, and follower count. You'll need at least 500 followers on one supported social channel to apply.
If Creator Collective isn’t the right fit right now, Share & Save is available immediately and is a strong place to start building your off-Etsy promotion habits.

How to choose
Think about how you usually share your work:
-
If you mainly want to promote your own Etsy shop, Share & Save is the simpler fit. You can start right away, track your results in Shop Manager, and save on fees on every eligible sale you drive.
- If you regularly create content for an audience and want to recommend Etsy finds beyond your own shop, Creator Collective may be a better match. The higher commission rate and creator tools are built for broader Etsy value and curation.
One important note: while you may be eligible for both programs, you'll need to choose one. Because Share & Save and Creator Collective use different earning models, the same sharing activity can't earn rewards from both at the same time.
Frequently asked questions
What if I’m already enrolled in one program but want to join the other too?
You may qualify for both, but you'll need to choose the program that best matches how you typically share. The same sharing activity can't earn from both programs at the same time.
What counts as an eligible order?
An eligible order is one placed through your trackable link from an approved channel within the applicable window. Specific exclusions and requirements apply, so review Etsy’s Share & Save Terms and Creator Collective Policy for further details.
What if I'm not accepted into Creator Collective?
Share & Save is open to all Etsy sellers, with no application or follower minimum. You can generate a link in Shop Manager and start earning from eligible orders to your own shop right away while you continue building toward Creator Collective eligibility.
How do I track my earnings?
Share & Save stats are available in your Share & Save dashboard in Shop Manager. Creator Collective members have access to a separate reporting dashboard through the Creator Collective portal.
What channels work for Share & Save?
Share & Save works on approved off-Etsy channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, email, newsletters, and other places you promote your shop.
