I am a ceramicist, designer, photographer and artist based in Queens, NY. I began making pottery in 2022, and I have been evolving my process ever since. My main focus areas are vases, mugs, bowls, planters and jars - I also experiment with altering wheel-thrown pieces. Each piece I make is unique and one-of-a-kind.

Sculptural Yet Functional Ceramics

I am a New York City-based artist and craftsperson, working in the mediums of ceramics, photography and printmaking. My ceramics practice began during the COVID-19 pandemic when I was searching for an outlet to ground me during uncertain times. During the following fours years, I began an immersive exploration of the wheel and later hand building techniques to alter pieces into functional but sculptural forms, arriving at a unique design aesthetic. An intense exploration of alternative firing has become an integral part of my practice, with a focus mainly on Wood and Soda firing in reduction atmospheres to achieve unpredictable but beautiful atmospheric effects.

I am a Member of Sculpture Space in Long Island City, Queens, but also regularly fire my work in New York’s Hudson Valley and Catskill Mountains.
