INCLUDED IN THIS KIT:
+ Instruction Booklet and Recipe Card (digital back-ups on my website just in case ;)
+ Fine Mesh, Unbleached 100% Cotton Cheesecloth (also called butter muslin, machine washable, not disposable like the grocery store type)
+ Metal Probe Thermometer (sturdy and perfect temperature range for cheesemaking)
+ Vegetarian Rennet (easy to use scored tablet, shelf stable for a year, 5 years stored in freezer, works for all diets)

YOU WILL NEED:
Simply add milk and basic kitchen equipment like a pot, colander, spoon, measuring utensils.
Milk Note:
Common pasteurized store-bought milk works. If it has the cream on top, even better. Raw, farm-fresh milk is great too. Make sure store-bought milk is NOT labeled ultra-pasteurized, UHT, or ultra-heat pasteurized.

Follow the simple instructions and in one hour or less you will be eating and sharing homemade, all-natural mozzarella, ricotta or farmers' cheese! Prep with some bread and a hearty salad to make it a full meal like I do in my classes.

MICROWAVE AND HOT WATER:
This DIY Cheese Making Kit includes mozzarella instructions using the modern microwave method as well as the old school artisan hot water method for stretching and shaping the curd. Both are fun to try but the microwave method is easier, way faster and far less messy. It's very helpful for total first timers. It will surprise you, and remember this is coming from a serious cheese lover with respect for the craft!

OPTIONAL FLAVORS:
Create signature cheeses and have lots of fun by adding fresh herbs, hot peppers and your favorite spices for unique cheeses not found in stores.

YIELD: A batch weighs over 1 lb. and with 4 batches you'll have plenty of supplies to try different herbs, spices and even shapes! The reusable thermometer and cheesecloth will keep on giving and you can refill the other ingredients easily (rennet tablets in my shop).

NUTRITIONAL INFO: This kit is gluten-free, vegetarian and keto. There is no dairy included in kit, you add the milk. Vegetarian rennet means that a mixed crowd can enjoy your cheese without concern about animal-stomach based enzymes.

SHELF LIFE: 2 year at room temperature, up to 5 years when rennet is stored in a freezer. Other items can just be stored in a dry pantry.
